Case Against the Lokesh Kanagaraj! Why Not Arrest Everyone?

Lokesh-Kanagaraj-Vijay-LEO

Movie directors easily become a target for everyone, and we often see how it goes overboard. Here is a perfect case of that.

A man named Murugan in Madurai court filed a case against Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj and requested the court to conduct psychological tests on him because his movie ‘LEO’ depicts violence, riots, and drugs.

The petitioner stated that ‘LEO’ sets a bad precedent among the audience by portraying characters involved in illegal activities, overspeeding, and committing crimes.

Setting aside logic and legality, the question should be asked: why not just arrest every action movie director and put them behind bars?

Why is only mental counseling suggested for Lokesh? What about Sandeep Vanga, Prashanth Neel, or Boyapati Srinu?

If a movie like ‘LEO’ has such a big negative influence on society, what about parents, teachers, and family members who instill values from the day a child is born? Do they have no influence, while only these action and crime genre movies have a negative impact?
