Fitness coach Nupur Shikhare and Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, tied the knot in a registered marriage on January 3. The wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai, where Nupur sported an unconventional attire – a casual vest and shorts. The reason behind this unique choice? Nupur, known for his fitness expertise, jogged approximately 8 km to reach the wedding venue to marry Ira.
Post the official registration, the newlyweds, Nupur Shikhare and Ira Khan, happily posed for the paparazzi. Ira adorned herself in a velvet choli and dhoti pants, adding elegance with a net dupatta draped over her head, while Nupur opted for a blue bandhgala.
Interestingly, Nupur stayed in his athleisure attire during the wedding celebrations, causing a stir on social media due to his unconventional choice of clothing. Videos of the couple exchanging vows and signing the marriage papers while Nupur was dressed in shorts and a vest went viral, sparking discussions online.
Amidst the festivities, a video surfaced showing Ira playfully sending Nupur for a shower after the ceremony. The newlyweds were captured posing with their families post the wedding, joined by Aamir’s first wife Reena Dutta, ex-wife Kiran Rao, sons Junaid Khan and Azad, and Nupur’s mother, Pritam Shikhare, completing the family portraits.
