AMB Cinemas Gachibowli is the most sought after Premium Multiplex in Hyderabad. Even for small films, we are seeing better occupancies in AMB than any other Multiplex in Hyderabad.
Suniel Narang, the owner will be under pressure this Sankranti due to the clash of Mahesh Babu‘s Gunturkaaram and HanuMan.
Usually, Multiplexes are expected to give shows for HanuMan better than Single Screens even though Mahesh Babu‘s stardom will take away majority of shows.
But then, that puts AMB in a tricky situation. Mahesh Babu owns a minor stake in AMB. Also, Narang will have natural obligation to the star. The Superstar will naturally demand for most shows.
Suniel admitted this situation in an off the record chat with M9 News Correspondent.
“If you don't give it, you will write that Sunil didn't give it to Mahesh Babu,” he said. When asked what he is planning, he added, “I don't understand that”.
Interestingly, Suniel is also a partner in Dil Raju‘s Distribution Business in Nizam. Just like Salaar, 1 AM Shows are being planned for Gunturkaaram.
It will be interesting to see if Mahesh Babu will get a clean slate or if HanuMan will get some shows on the opening day.
