A major accident almost happened on Saturday with a Boeing 737-9 Max flight of Alaska Airlines in America. When the plane going from Portland to Ontario, California reached an altitude of 16.32 thousand feet after takeoff, the door of the plane broke and flew into the air. This was the emergency exit door of the plane.

Due to the uprooting of the door, the shirt of the child sitting on the adjacent seat got torn. Some passengers' phones also flew in the air. However, the child's mother saved him from falling out of the plane. After this, emergency landing of the plane was done. Airlines have banned the flight of all Boeing 737-9 aircraft after this incident. Meanwhile, India's aviation regulator DGCA has asked to inspect the emergency exit door of the Boeing 737-8 Max plane.

Alaska Airlines has given information about the incident on its social media page. According to the information, there were 171 passengers and 6 crew members on board the plane. Pilot declared emergency
According to the Daily Mail report, the pilot of the plane declared an emergency as soon as the door separated. In the audio recordings, the pilot is heard asking air traffic control about landing.

The pilot said- There is an emergency in Alaska 1282. We are returning to Portland. Now we have reached an altitude of 12 thousand feet. We need to divert. There is an emergency in the plane and 177 people are present here. We want to land immediately.

Passenger said- The sound was so loud that it seemed as if ears would burst.
Everyone on board the plane is safe and has reached Portland. At present, America's National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the matter. 20-year-old Elizabeth, who was on board the plane, told that the sound was 10 times louder than what is usually heard while sitting in the plane. It felt as if our ears would burst.

Another passenger Kaylee Rinker said- There was silence in the plane. No one was saying anything because of fear. The oxygen masks came out as soon as there was a disturbance in the plane. Many people also used it.

Boeing 737 Max aircraft has crashed several times
Boeing manufactured the 737 Max aircraft in 2015. The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) approved it in 2017. Since then it has become the most used aircraft in the world. In 2018, this plane crashed for the first time while flying under Indonesian airline. About 189 people had died then.

After this, another Boeing 737 Max plane crashed in March 2019. 157 people died in this. Three days later, the FAA banned the flight of this plane. In 2021, Boeing paid a fine of $2.5 billion to the US Justice Department.
