Winter vacations extended in summer zone upto Jan 12

SRINAGAR: Due to cold weather conditions, the Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Saturday ordered an extension of winter vacation for all government and private recognised schools in the summer zone of Jammu up to January 12.
The personal officer of the Directorate School Education Jammu, Dr Vikas Dhar Bagati, told the Rising Kashmir that the winter vacation is extended up to January 12, 2024, in all government and private recognised schools in the summer zone of Jammu Division due to cold weather conditions.
“All the teaching staff shall resume their duties from January 8, 2024, and the heads of the institutions shall ensure classes for 10th to 12th grade through online mode during the extended vacation period,” he said.
