The much-anticipated 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift has been fully revealed ahead of its official launch on January 16. Interested buyers can book the new SUV online or at authorised Hyundai dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. Deliveries for the updated Creta are expected to begin by the end of this month.
2024 Hyundai Creta Exterior
The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift looks different from the updated Creta on sale in international markets. The new Creta has received several India-specific changes in terms of styling and interior. It comes with all-new front fascia, which is inspired from the global Hyundai SUVs including the new Santa Fe. The SUV has more upright front nose with chrome and brushed aluminum treatment. It also has a piano black finish that complements the chrome & brushed aluminum treatment.
The SUV comes with all-LED lighting system, featuring four inverted L-shaped daytime running lamps on the corners. There is an LED light bar that runs above the new wider grille. Similarly, the rear also has LED tail-lights with similar design treatment and an LED light bar running across the width. The rear has received significant changes in terms of all-new tailgate design and new bumper. The side profile appears identical to the existing model, except for the newly designed alloy wheels with 17-or 18-inch wheel options.
Hyundai Creta facelift Interior
The Creta facelift comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) with features like auto high beam, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane assist, autonomous emergency braking and others. The SUV comes with a comprehensive suite of more than 70 safety features, with 36 features offered as standard. It comes with six airbags, ESC, all-wheel disc brakes are offered as standard.
Compared to the previous model, the new Creta comes with blind spot view monitor, surround view monitor, dual-zone climate control, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof and an 8-way power driver seat, and front-row ventilated seats. It comes with an all-new dashboard layout dominated by a single screen that accommodates a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in navigation and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display that shows features like ADAS alerts, blind view monitor, a highline TPMS and driving statistics. The SUV also has an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Powertrain Options
The new Creta SUV is offered with 3 engine options – a 160PS, 1.5L turbo petrol, a 115PS, 1.5L NA petrol and a 116PS, 1.5L turbo diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, iVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
