MG Motor India has introduced the 2024 model year of its Astor SUV, presenting an enticing lineup starting at Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated range is available in five trims, namely Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and the newly introduced Savvy Pro. All variants feature the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a robust 110PS and 144Nm. The powertrain options include a 5-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed CVT gearbox.
For the manual transmission, available in Sprint, Shine, Select, and Sharp Pro trims, the pricing stands at Rs 9.98 lakh, Rs 11.68 lakh, Rs 12.98 lakh, and Rs 14.40 lakh, respectively. The NA petrol-CVT combination is offered with the Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro variants, priced at Rs 13.98 lakh, Rs 15.68 lakh, and Rs 16.58 lakh.

The Savvy Pro CVT in the Sangria color scheme is priced at Rs 16.68 lakh. Additionally, the 1.3L turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic gearbox is exclusively reserved for the Savvy Pro trim, available at Rs 17.89 lakh. Both Ivory and Sangria exterior paint schemes are available across all variants, while the dual-tone color scheme can be opted for an additional Rs 20,000.
The 2024 MG Astor boasts several feature upgrades, including auto-dimming IRVM and ventilated seats, exclusively available for the Savvy Pro trim. Starting from the Select trim, the SUV offers i-Smart 2.0 connected tech, wireless smartphone connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger.
The new Astor retains the Level 2 ADAS tech, providing access to 14 advanced safety features. The SUV is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, blind-spot detection, a 360-degree surround-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 6-speaker and tweeters, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill descent control, and hill hold control.
