A clash that is in the talking for obvious reasons, has finally happened and many are wondering how the box office is treating them. One of them happens to be the mighty Mahesh Babu movie Guntur Kaaram which has Trivikram directing it, while the other film is Prashanth Varma’s Hanu Man movie. Here is how the openings are.
First of all, Hanu Man took a risky move by opting for premiere shows, as screening two shows on Thursday itself would be quite a wrong move if the content fails to get attention. But Hanu Man made it, and the film’s content impressed the audience big time, thus getting a unanimous positive response. At the same time, Guntur Kaaram premiered at midnight, but the film got mixed talk.
Cut to the openings, Guntur Kaaram will add a massive Day 1 to its kitty as the film got released in a huge number of theatres. And then, Hanu Man registered nearly ₹4+ crores gross from the premiere shows alone and that is a mighty achievement. In Andhra Pradesh states, from the afternoon of Jan 12th, the film is adding more screens to its kitty as audience are demanding for the tickets.
