Mahindra & Mahindra has recently introduced the XUV400 EV faceliftfeaturing a significantly updated interior and a host of new features. The model is available in two variants – EC Pro and EL Pro, priced at Rs 15.49 lakh (with a 3.3kW AC charger), Rs 16.74 lakh (with a 7.2kW AC charger), and Rs 17.49 lakh (with a 7.2kW AC charger). Following this, the company is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of its subcompact sibling, the XUV300, incorporating substantial upgrades inspired by the new 2024 Mahindra XUV400 EV.
The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift will feature a noteworthy enhancement in the form of a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This unit will be powered by Mahindra’s latest AdrenoX user interface and will support wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Similar to its electric counterpart, the new XUV300 will sport a fully digital instrument cluster with a color MID in the center and dual pods.
Buyers can also expect the AdrenoX-connected car system, offering over 60 functions such as location-based services, remote vehicle operation, multiple alerts, and vehicle status updates. In a bid to enhance the comfort of rear-seat passengers, Mahindra will equip the XUV300 facelift with features like rear AC vents with storage space below them, rear seat airbags, and USB Type-C charging ports. Safety is prioritized with six airbags expected to be offered as standard.
The center console may undergo revision, mirroring the changes seen in the new Mahindra XUV400 EV. The higher variant of the 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift is set to include a panoramic sunroof. Additional features such as new seat upholstery, a 360-degree camera, wireless smartphone charging, ventilated front seats, electronic stability program, corner braking control, and hill hold assist will also be available.
No significant changes are anticipated in the engine bay. The new Mahindra XUV300 will retain its current lineup, featuring the 1.2L turbo MPI, 1.2L turbo GDI, and 1.5L turbo diesel engines, producing 110PS, 130PS, and 117PS, respectively. The transmission options will remain unchanged, offering a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AutoShift.
