There is a mass exodus of leaders from the YSR Congress to the Telugu Desam Party. The condition is such that the YSR Congress may even lose a Rajya Sabha seat due to the Rebels going from the party.
Deputy CM Narayana Swamy tried to downplay this migration saying that the leaders leaving the party is nothing but covets.
“All those leaving YSR Congress are nothing but Chandrababu’s coverts. They are in touch with him for so long,” the Deputy CM.
Some of the leaders who are leaving the YSR Congress are Congress first and YSR Congress next. They have been anti-TDP since the start. One example is Kolusu Parthasarathy from Penamaluru. But the Deputy CM still says they are Chandrababu’s coverts.
Balineni, Jagan’s uncle who is against TDP all his life may also leave the party. Is he a Chandrababu’s covert in the YS family?
Leaving that aside, why would anybody be a covert of Chandrababu and ditch the YSR Congress? YSR Congress leaders claim that they are coming back to power with 175/175 seats!
