TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday expressed confidence that the TDP-Jana Sena combine will emerge victorious in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Chandrababu Naidu is of the firm belief that the countdown for the YSRCP Government has begun and asked whether the sins committed and the crimes coupled with atrocities on Dalits can be washed out if the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar is installed.
The Konaseema region which is known for peace and tranquility has been turned into a centre for violence, atrocities and riots by this YSRCP Government, Chandrababu said while addressing a massive public meeting at Mandapeta in Ambedkar Konaseema district as part of the ‘Raa Kadalira’ programme.
“The internet was disconnected for over a week in the area following clashes reflects the ground reality. Do you want to turn the peaceful Konaseema area into another Pulivendula,” Chandrababu asked and made it clear that he will certainly not allow it to happen. Stating that he has undertaken this ‘Raa Kadalira’ programme keeping in view the welfare of the State, he said that the farmers are the worst-affected in this destructive rule while ganja cultivators are flourishing.
Regretting that the youth falling victim to ganja, Chandrababu asked whether the Chief Minister has conducted at least a single review meeting on ganja smuggling in these five years. The State was on top position in the country in the aqua sector during the TDP regime but now it totally got destroyed. Immediately after the TDP-Jana Sena government is formed all necessary steps will be taken to come to the rescue of the aqua sector, he said.
Reaffirming that the coming TDP-Jana Sena government will supply power at Rs 1.50 per unit, Chandrababu promised to revive all the welfare schemes that are discontinued now besides implementing new programmes announced under ‘Babu Surety Bhavishyathu Guarantee’.
Expressing serious concern that several innocent lives are lost in the past five years due to consumption of spurious liquor, he said all the necessary corrective measures will be taken once the TDP-Jana Sena forms the coming government.
Promising to take steps for the welfare of the Backward Class (BC) communities, Chandrababu Naidu said that Ministers belonging to a particular community are encouraged to use highly objectionable language against him, TDP general secretary, Lokesh, and Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan. Observing that all the sections of society are the sufferers of this dictatorial rule, Chandrababu called upon the people to join together to throw this futile Government in the Bay of Bengal.
It is the TDP that did great justice for the Dalits, Chandrababu said and mentioned how many Dalit leaders have been taken into Cabinet and how many have been given various other postings. The Kodi Katthi Seenu, for no fault of his, has been kept behind bars for the past five years while YSRCP MP, Avinash Reddy, who killed Babai (uncle) is moving freely in society, he said.
How the MLC, who killed his Dalit driver and door delivered the body can be praised, he asked. Pointing out several such incidents in which the Dalits are the victims, Chandrababu Naidu asked whether all these sins committed can be washed out if the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar is installed.
The TDP supremo expressed confidence that the TDP-Jana Sena combine is going to win all the Assembly segments in the combined East Godavari district and the countdown for the YSRCP has begun as only 81 days left for this Government.
Listing out all the welfare schemes mentioned in the ‘Babu Surety Bhavishaythu Guarantee’, he said all these programmes will be implemented in letter and spirit.
This Mandapeta YSRCP incharge has looted Rs 500 cr through sand and even forcibly occupied lands of innocent people, he said and made it clear that all such persons will have to face the music in coming days.
Minister, Chelloboyina fell at the feet of YSRCP MP, Vijaysai Reddy, thus mortgaging the prestige of the BCs, he remarked.
“If the people want a golden era for the State they should elect the TDP-Jana Sena to power and all of them should come forward to achieve this goal. I will certainly repay all your debts,” Chandrababu Naidu observed.
