James and Shaw hit hat-tricks as WSL race hots up – Women’s Football Weekly | Football

On this week’s pod: the WSL is back with a bang and the battle for the Golden Boot is hotting up. Anything you can do, I can do better … Lauren James and Bunny Shaw both score hat-tricks as Chelsea and Manchester City win.

Elsewhere, Arsenal keep pace with the top two, there are wins for Villa and Brighton, while Tottenham and West Ham play out a seven-goal thriller.

We’ll also round up the Championship, discuss the latest transfers and look ahead to this week’s Champions League fixtures.

We’ll be back next week when we’ll be reflecting on the huge clash at the bottom of the table as Bristol City host West Ham – as well as all the other WSL action.
