The Government of India had conferred Megastar Chiranjeevi with the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award of the Republic of India, after the Bharat Ratna. He is only the seventh actor to get the award and only the second Telugu actor after Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
