Dehradun : On Republic Day, Tricolor Yatra will be taken out at all the district and development block levels of the state. In which students, teachers and departmental officers of many schools will compulsorily participate.
Apart from this, presence of MLAs and local public representatives will also be ensured in the Tiranga Yatra. Instructions have been given to the Chief Education Officers and Block Education Officers for the successful organization of the Tiranga Yatra. The Education Minister said, students studying in nearby schools, teachers and employees and district level officers and employees will participate in the Tricolor Yatra to be taken out today.
Said, the regional MLA at the development block level, block chief, district panchayat and area panchayat members, village head including local public representatives and dignitaries will participate in the yatra. In this regard, after discussions with senior departmental officials, the Chief Education Officers and Block Education Officers of all the districts have been asked to issue necessary guidelines.
Told that the Tricolor Yatra will be organized within one kilometer from the district and block headquarters. All the students, public representatives and officials participating in the yatra will remember the immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom with the tricolor in their hands while singing patriotic songs. Videography of the Tricolor Yatra will also be done by the department.
