Macron is the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations in Delhi on January 26. Earlier, Macron reached Jaipur directly in a special flight. Governor Kalraj Mishra, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma received Macron at the airport. Macron's convoy left the airport for Amer Fort. School children and common citizens welcomed the convoy at various places on the way. In many places, children greeted Macron by shaking hands.
Macron was also seen at the Amer Fort chatting with attendees and taking photos with them. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari were also present in the fort. Macron also attended a cultural program here. Meanwhile, PM Modi later reached Jaipur from Bulandshahr. He was received at the airport by Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. From the airport, Modi left for Jantar Mantar in the park of Jaipur. People and school children were standing on the road to welcome him.

Prime Minister Modi and President Macron were standing in an open-top vehicle during the road show. Both the leaders accepted the greetings of the crowd standing on both sides of the road. People also shouted slogans of 'Modi Modi'. Flowers were showered on him at many places.
