Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Pushpa 2 and this is a keenly awaited film in the pan-India space. Meanwhile, Bunny has already initiated talks with other directors for his upcoming films.
There is the film with Trivikram that was announced earlier, and the as-yet unofficial but much-talked-about film with Atlee. The announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga will take more time as the director is focused on Spirit with Prabhas for now. Geetha Arts announced a film with Boyapati the other day and he too has been in talks with Bunny for a while now.
Of all these options, there is only one logical theory for Bunny to follow with regard to his next film and this is going ahead with Atlee’s film.
Bunny will see an increase in pan Indian market with Pushpa 2 and the onus will be on him to do a packed pan-Indian film to cement his position. Atlee, who proved his mettle with Jawan is the most effective of the directors who are in talks with Bunny. His ‘mixture’ filmmaking might draw flak from a section but his films are working big time and he has become a safe director to bet on.
Trivikram is blowing hot and cold and he hasn’t touched the pan-Indian space now. Bunny can’t do a Pushpa 2 and then come back to doing a regional entertainer film with Trivikram. Same with Boyapati, he might have action appeal but his delivery is very unpredictable.
So Allu Arjun has only one logical way ahead of Pushpa 2 and that is to go with Atlee for his next film.
