As per the ongoing buzz, Vijay Sethupathi is in talks for Ramayana, the biggest mythological drama directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari. Ranbir Kapoor is on board to play the lead role as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi essays the role of Sita. There are reports that Kannada Superstar Yash is in talks to play Ravana.

Ramayana is a multiple-part film and the shoot of the first part starts in April.
