Bajaj Auto has introduced the updated Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160 models in India. The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 is now available in two colors, Black and White, priced at Rs 1,17,677, while the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 is offered in three paint schemes – Black, Blue, and Red – with prices starting from Rs 1,30,560. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. Although bookings for these bikes have commenced, deliveries are set to begin in the coming weeks. Let’s delve into the new features introduced in these updated models:
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160 now come equipped with a digital LCD instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity. This feature enables riders to accept and reject calls using a button on the left switch cube, providing information such as battery level, mobile signal strength, and mobile notification alerts.
The LCD display also offers details on instantaneous and average fuel consumption, as well as distance to empty. These enhancements complement standard information like speed, engine revs, average fuel efficiency, gear position indicator, instant fuel economy, and distance to empty, thereby elevating the overall riding experience.
In addition to the technological upgrades, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160 receive new colors and body graphics. Despite these visual updates, no changes have been made to the overall design and engine specifications.
The new Pulsar N150 retains the same 149.68cc engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, delivering a claimed power of 14.3bhp and 13.5Nm of torque. On the other hand, the new Pulsar N160 is equipped with the 164.82cc, DTS-I motor, producing a peak power of 15.8bhp and 14.65Nm of torque. It’s worth noting that, unlike the spotted test mules which featured a USD fork, the new Pulsar N160 comes with a conventional front fork setup.
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160 are set to compete directly with the Suzuki Gixxer and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in the market.
