Tata Harrier EV Production Model Unveiled; Launch In Late 2024

The Tata Harrier EV has made its debut in its production version at the ongoing 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Delhi, showcasing its final design and electric capabilities. Painted in a distinctive green color scheme, the electric SUV closely follows its concept, featuring a new blanked-off grille, a revised front bumper with angular creases, headlamps with a split setup and blackened housing, and a new LED light bar spanning its width. The central air intake has also been redesigned with a blanked-off panel.

On the sides, the Tata Harrier EV displays notable features such as alloy wheels, flush door handles, black cladding, and EV badges on the fenders. The rear section is characterized by redesigned taillamps with a new LED light bar running its width, a tweaked bumper with angular indents, and additional body cladding.

Similar to the new Punch EV, the Harrier EV is built on the Acti.ev platformsupporting Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) systems. It is compatible with both permanent magnet synchronous motors and induction motors.

Leaked interior patents of the Tata Harrier EV suggest a technologically advanced cabin, featuring a large touchscreen infotainment system, a new central tunnel with rotary dials for different driving modes, a new twin-spoke steering wheel, and a touch panel for AC vents and other functionalities. Further details on the interior and features are expected to be revealed soon.

In addition to the Harrier EV, Tata showcased other models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, including the Curvv coupe SUV in its production-ready form, alongside the Altroz Racer, Nexon iCNG, and Safari Dark Edition.
