AP Minister Chelluboina Venu Gopal made personal comments against Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. He said, “Older brother Chiranjeevi started a political party but closed it after losing. Then, the younger brother Pawan Kalyan started his party. In 2014, Pawan Kalyan decided not to contest in elections and accepted his defeat even before contesting.”
Chiranjeevi left politics long back. Even after stepping back from politics, he continues to face personal attacks from political leaders.
Chiranjeevi has always shown respect towards Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and praised him on many occasions. However, YCP leaders keep targeting him. Despite receiving the Padma Vibhushan honour, Jagan Mohan Reddy did not properly acknowledge Chiranjeevi, while the Telangana government felicitated him today.
