“Felt Like Puking Seeing Mirzapur”

A month back, Javed Akhtar faced criticism from Animal makers after he expressed concern about the box office success of the movie, calling it a “dangerous trend.” Akhtar pointed out instances in the film where objectionable actions were glorified.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga defended his work in a recent interview, urging Akhtar to scrutinize his son Farhan Akhtar’s production, the Mirzapur web series first before commenting on Animal.

Vanga highlighted the use of explicit language in the series and questioned why Akhtar didn’t address similar concerns with his son. He said that he felt like puking after watching such filthy language in the series.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga continues to slam people who have been criticizing his work. Recently it was Aamir Khan and his wife and now it’s Javed Akhtar. It might be looking cool for him to give it back to his critics as he is currently basking in the glory of success.

He is confidently challenging Bollywood stars and celebrities who question his creative choices. However, it’s essential to consider the unpredictable nature of the industry, and if god forbid, Vanga were to encounter failure in the future, these bold statements might come back to haunt and bite him.
