Megastar Chiranjeevi was awarded Padma Vibhushan – the Second Civilian Award of the Country. It is a great achievement and is a proud moment for every Telugu person. But then, it is extremely sad how Andhra Pradesh Government responded to it.
Jagan Mohan Reddy did not call Chiranjeevi or even Tweet to wish him. There was a formal Press Note released by the CMO to the media wishing all the Padma Recipients.
In contrast, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy behaved very nicely. He immediately wished Chiranjeevi on phone and also on Twitter as soon as the announcement came out. Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy went to Chiranjeevi‘s house the next day and wished him.
Revanth Reddy and some ministers also attended the Party by Upasana last night and today morning, Telangana Government arranged a Grand Felicitation to Chiranjeevi and other winners at a Grand Event in Shilpa Kala Vedhika, Hyderabad.
The entire cabinet is at the event and shared good words about Chiranjeevi. Andhra Pradesh Government remains as if it has got nothing to do with the issue.
On this occasion, people are remembering how Jagan ill-treated Chiranjeevi. A picture of Chiranjeevi pleading Jagan with folded hands is going viral on social media.
Despite Pawan Kalyan being in politics and Jagan making very personal comments on him, Chiranjeevi always respected Jagan for the greater good of the Film Industry. It is sad that Jagan does not reciprocate to that.
