Ola Electric has launched the S1 X electric scooter with a bigger 4kWh battery pack. The Ola S1 X e-scooter is now available with 3 battery pack options – 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh – priced at Rs 79,999, Rs 89,999 and Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
With a 4kWh battery pack, the Ola S1 X is claimed to offer a range of up to 190km on a single charge. This is just 5km less than the top-spec gen-2 S1 Pro. It takes around 6 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge the battery.
Except for the bigger battery pack, the Ola S1 X looks similar to the existing model with smaller battery pack. It now weighs 112kg, which is 4kg higher than the S1 X with a 3kWh battery pack. Ola is also offering an 8-year/80,000 km standard battery warranty for electric scooters without any extra charges. Customers can also opt for an extended warranty of 1 lakh kilometers for just Rs 4,999 and 1.25 lakh kilometers for Rs 12,999.
Ola has also announced that it will increase its service centre by good 50 per cent. The company aims to have 600 service centres nationwide by April 2024. Not just service centres, Ola Electric is also planning to increase its public charging network from existing 1000 chargers to 10,000 by June 2024.
