Galaxy Fit 3 manual available as we wait for the fitness tracker’s release

The upcoming Galaxy Ring is going to be a great alternative for those who aren’t looking for something as complex as a smartwatch, but as a first-generation product, it is likely to command an expensive price tag. But Samsung isn’t forgetting about those on a budget as it forays into a new product segment and will soon be launching the Galaxy Fit 3.

The Galaxy Fit 3 will be the successor to the Galaxy Fit 2 that came out more than three years ago. It is beginning to reach retailers in some countries, indicating that an official launch is very close, and now, its user manual is available as well.

The manual doesn’t exactly offer any interesting tidbits except for confirming some of the health and other features that will be available. It also confirms that in terms of size and form factor, the Fit 3 falls between the Galaxy Watch and previous Galaxy Fit trackers and, if we’re being honest, looks like an Apple Watch rip-off because of the rectangular 1.6-inch display.

The Galaxy Fit 3 is limited to an optical heart rate sensor on the hardware front instead of having the entire suite of sensors as Samsung’s smartwatches, though it will still offer many of the same health and fitness tracking abilities.

The Galaxy Fit 3 will support tracking heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and stress, along with step counting and tracking for various exercises. It will also be able to record your sleeping pattern, though the results will undoubtedly be less accurate compared to a Galaxy smartwatch.

As expected, Samsung will also offer various customization options, including watch faces and widgets (or tiles, as Samsung is calling them). Hit this link to download the user manual if you want to go through it yourselves, and stay tuned for more Galaxy Fit 3 news in the coming days.
