Eagle is a film directed by Karthik Ghattamane with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja as the hero and Kavya Thapar as the heroine. The movie released in theaters today. Let's go into the review and see how this movie fares.
Story:
A tribal from Talakona forest area in Madanapalli taluk of Andhra Pradesh keeps an idol of Sahadeva Varma (Ravi Teja) in the Tanda and worships him as a god. However, journalist Nalini Rao (Anupama) accidentally saw a special cotton cloth and was writing an article about the village where the cloth was produced. With that, CBI steps in and takes over the entire newspaper. So, what is Sahadev Verma's connection with that cotton cloth?, So, who is this Sahadev Varma?, why did CBI get involved if he was written about in the paper?, what happened to Sahadev's wife Rachna (Kavya Thapar)?, who is the eagle in this whole affair? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Ravi Teja looked very powerful in the role of 'Eagle'. Ravi Teja has impressed with the wild action elements as well as the emotions. Ravi Teja's acting style is impressive, showing variations to suit his character's circumstances. Moreover Ravi Teja acted very well with his body language, in some action and emotional sequences and with his stylish looks. Ravi Teja also impressed in the love story with Kavya Thapar.
Kavya Thapar has impressed as the heroine. Even in heavy emotional scenes, she acted very settled and impressive. Anupama Parameswaran, who played a key role, also impressed. Navdeep who played another key role also acted well. In terms of acting, Vinay Roy has done much better in this film than his previous films. Srinivas Avarsala, Madhubala, Ajay Ghosh and the rest of the cast also performed well in the scope of their roles.
Especially Ajay Ghosh gave a good laugh at some places. Action episodes and emotional scenes written by director Karthik Ghattamaneni are good. The director has made this film especially keeping Ravi Teja's fans in mind.
Minus Points:
Karthik Ghattamane, who designed the character of Eagle and the flashback of that character Talu well, did not write the treatment of this Eagle film to the same extent. He fails to write a particularly interesting story. Many scenes feel slow and regular. Apart from some scenes, there is no freshness anywhere.
Also, the director, who made the first half fast, made the second half too long. Except in the climax, the rest of the story failed to increase the curiosity. Although the story could have been made more interesting, Karthik Ghattamaneni ended the film in his own style. And 'Kavya Thapar', the pivotal role that turns the story, should have been established more strongly.
Technical Department:
Although the director Karthik Ghattamaneni has screened some scenes very well in terms of action as well as emotionally. The background score in the movie is good. The songs given by the music director don't matter. Cinematography is also good. Most of the scenes in the movie have been shot very beautifully. When it comes to editing.. the editor should reduce some of the stretched scenes here and there. Producer TG Vishwaprasad made this film without any compromise. His production values are very good.
Verdict:
In this movie called 'Eagle', which is a huge action and emotional drama, Ravi Teja's acting and action scenes, as well as the elevations and emotions of Ravi Teja's character Talu are good. The climax is also impressive. So, even though there is a strong emotion and conflict in the film… in that emotion, in that conflict, the audience is fully involved… they are not exactly establishment. Overall, Ravi Teja's performance and powerful action elements are very impressive in this movie.
