During a Q&A at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Oscar contender Anthony Ruffalo revealed that he will be playing the Hulk in Marvel’s “Captain America: Brave New World”.
Ruffalo said in the interview that he was excited about the 2025 picture, but according to several sources, he misspoke and meant to say that “Brave New World” is one of Marvel’s upcoming movies rather than that he would be in it.
Due to his misinterpretation of the Red Hulk character, Harrison Ford, who is scheduled to play President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the next Marvel movie, has been the focus of rumors. Following the social media success of Ruffalo’s one-word response to the query, “What is Red Hulk?” Many fans began to anticipate that Harrison Ford would also assume the role of Ross’s comic book alter ego, Red Hulk.
Marvel has not, however, verified this narrative twist and Ruffalo’s earlier missteps have further damaged his reputation for Marvel-related PR faux pas. Ruffalo talked about how he has brought the Hulk and his alter ego Bruce Banner from being at war to discovering a way to coexist as one during a Q&A at SBIFF.
