We are only in the second month of the new year 2024, and one pattern is really causing concern among Indian parents, especially those with older kids.
We have reported a string of 7 deaths of Indian American or Indian students this year.
The fact that so many deaths have occurred in such a short time is creating growing panic among Indian parents in the U.S.
Strangely, a few of them died on campus at the university after being reported missing, later found dead on the campus as well. Purdue University experienced two such cases.
While officials have been reporting to the media and the deceased students’ parents that no foul play is suspected, the reason behind this pattern of Indian students dying in such a short time is a big puzzle. We hope and pray that this will stop here.
