Heroine Radhika Apte Trash Talk On Tollywood: Trolled

Radhika-Apte-Telugu-Film-Industry

Bollywood actress Radhika Apte is infamous in the Telugu film industry for her anti-Tollywood comments. In the past, she commented that a Tollywood senior troubled her and she gave it back to him.

Now, she is back at it again as she has spoken badly about the Telugu industry. A video of a file interview of Radhika is being shared extensively by Tamil cinema followers now for expected reasons. They are using this video to sling mud at the Telugu film industry.

In the video, Radhika is seen saying “Telugu is a male chauvinist industry. It was unbearable. On screen, they show women as godly figures but in shooting, female actresses are not given any respect. It is an extremely male-dominated industry. I have decided to quit doing Telugu films.”

A section of Telugu cinema followers on social media are calling Radhika’s interview as a trash talk to gain attention. They are pointing out that there are several actresses in Tollywood, who are active in the industry and happily doing films but Radhika Apte who always seeks attention is doing all she can for PR.

A few netizens commented under the video “Inni chippina ame legend tarvatha lion enduk teesindhoo.” “Chance ichi thappu pani chesru ra first. Ippudu chese movies anni b grade characters ey malli edho kathalu ippudu”.

Another netizen commented “Yeah please don’t work in Telugu again. We don’t require u. Wondering where u got Red carpet welcome in Bollywood. Ur webseries tell about u. Script selection.” A few others are calling out Tamil cinema followers for sharing this old interview now just to sling mud at Tollywood. They are pointing out at the audacity of Tamil fans to comment about Tollywood while Tamil has actors like Mansoor who say they wish to have rape scenes with actresses.

That said, Radhika’s version of the story is her tale to tell an it deals with her experiences. This can’t be disregarded completely either.
