The second half of ‘Invincible’ is almost here, as Prime Video has published the first trailer for the brutal end to season 2. Season 2 Part 2, which comprises four episodes, will premiere on Prime Video on March 14 with each episode released weekly.
Part 1 was published in November and concluded on multiple cliffhangers, with Invincible, alias Mark Grayson, running across his father Omni-Man, who attempted to murder him in the Season 1 conclusion, in an unknown world.
The uneasy reunion became much more unpleasant when Omni-Man disclosed that he had fathered a kid with one of the insectoid extraterrestrial members. Invincible and Omni-Man narrowly repulsed three Viltrumite assailants, who carried Omni-Man back to their stronghold and instructed Invincible to prepare Earth.
The Season 2 Part 2 trailer promises even more gruesome, limb-snapping, cosmic mayhem. Invincible returns to space and faces an invasion by the mind-controlling, parasitic aliens encountered in the first season. The Viltrumites are interrogating Omni-Man, and they dispatch a female spy to Earth to battle Invincible. Angstrom Levy, the multiverse-hopping villain, returns, and a strange burial is suggested at the conclusion.
Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons makes up the cast of “Invincible.”
