Congress is likely to contest the East and North West Delhi Lok Sabha seats, party sources said, as the seat-sharing alliance with AAP came through after several rounds of deliberations this week.
The Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have finalised their seat-sharing alliance for the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi after several rounds of deliberations this week, sources said on Thursday. Sources from both parties confirmed that they had settled for a four-three seat-sharing formula, with AAP contesting four constituencies and Congress on three.
“Yes, the seat-sharing agreement for Delhi has been reached between both parties; we will disclose which seat will be contested by a candidate from which party shortly,” a senior AAP leader told The Indian Express.

According to Congress sources, the alliance was likely to bring the East and North West Lok Sabha seats to its fold irrespective of the choice of the third seat that it would contest.
According to a senior Congress leader, the third seat that the party would contest from was likely to be from among the Chandni Chowk, New Delhi or West Delhi Parliamentary constituencies.
“We will assess the winnability of candidates proposed by both parties for the third seat; but it is mostly certain that the Congress will field its candidates from the East and North West Delhi Lok Sabha seats,” the Congress leader said.
As reported by The Indian Expressthe parties ironed out issues related to seats in other states — especially two Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat which had emerged as the roadblock for the alliance in the capital between them — on Thursday.
