Malayalam Megastar Mammootty's latest horror action drama Bhramayugam. The movie released today with Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharathan, Amalda Liz playing key roles. And let's go to the review and find out how much it pleased the audience!

Story:

Tevan (Arjun Ashokan) is a good singer. Traveling through the forest with his friend, he accidentally ends up alone in a large abandoned building. There is only one cook (Siddharth Bharathan) and the owner of the house, Kudumon Potti (Mammootty). Kudumon Potti welcomes Tevan as a guest in his house. In the background of some dramatic developments in this sequence, Tevan makes many attempts to run away from that house. But, no matter how many efforts are made, none of them will work. Why did Tevan want to run away?, Who is Kudumon Potti?, What is his background?, What is Kudumon Potti doing in the abandoned building in the forest?, Did Tevan (Arjun Ashokan) finally escape from that building? Or? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

The biggest plus point of this movie is Mammootty's role and his performance. Mammootty has acted brilliantly in the role of negative shades. He impressed a lot with his realistic acting in some thriller scenes. Mammootty's acting is very good, especially in some action scenes in the second half and also in the key scenes in the pre-climax. The main plot written by director Rahul Sadashivan and the background of the story are good.

Arjun Ashokan who played another lead role in this movie also impressed with his performance. Arjun Ashokan impressed with his performance in some horror scenes. Siddharth Bharathan who played another key role also acted well. Also, Amalda Liz also became a special attraction with her glamorous looks. Director Rahul Sadashivan has maintained the suspense in the story well. Moreover, he picturized the horror scenes very well.

Minus Points:

It is doubtful how far this movie will connect with the Telugu audience, which has gone away from commercial elements. The director, who revealed many logical points perfectly, left some of them very simple in direct. Also, although the key scenes are written well, it would have been better if some of the scenes in the middle of the second half of the rest of the scenes had been made more interesting. Along with this, the screenplay of this era of illusion was also very regular and routine.

What will happen next while watching the movie?, How will Arjun Ashokan's character escape from that building? Although it created suspense in the audience, the interest was lost at some places in the movie as the story was stretched around the same point. It would have been better if the sequences before the climax had been shown better.

Technical Department:

Director Rahul Sadashivan, who has been successful in taking a good story, has struggled in some places to write exciting scenes. But, the scenes created by him are impressive. Music director Cristo Xavier's music is good. The cinematography work is a special attraction of the movie itself. The editing is also good. And the producers should be appreciated for believing in the director's idea and presenting such a diverse film to the audience. Producers Chakraborty, Ramachandra, S. Shashikanth's production values are very good.

Verdict:

This mystery horror thriller called 'Bhrama Yuga' is giving a new experience to a section of audience. Especially the story written by director Rahul Sadashivan, the horror scenes, some thrilling elements as well as the taking are impressive aspects of the movie. However, some of the scenes are regular and slow, and the lack of commercial elements are the weak points of the movie. Overall, those who like horror films will like this movie, but the rest of the audience may not like it.
