TDP and JSP put a major step forward in the alliance as they jointly announced their candidates for the coming election. However, on the other hand, BJP which is also in talks for an alliance with TDP and JSP is still playing the waiting game.
BJP AP representative GVL Narasimha Rao said there is no information from the BJP high command on the alliance.
“The BJP high command hasn’t decided on the alliance in Andhra Pradesh. We don’t have a clear directive from the high command so we can’t comment on the matter now.” GVL said.
The BJP leader said the BJP high command will decide on whom to ally with and till then, the AP leadership will prepare for the election campaign on their own.
The fact that BJP, which is in talks for the alliance still hasn’t made an official announcement while the other two parties TDP and JSP have even announced the first list is catching the attention.
On the other hand, TDP and JSP have still reserved the seats for BJP and a new list will be announced in the due course after the assessment of the alliance with BJP.
