Mega Prince Varun Tej is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film, Operation Valentine, directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada and featuring Manushi Chhillar as the lead actress.
During the film’s pre-release event, Varun Tej’s father and producer Naga Babu’s comments about ideal physical attributes for portraying a police character stirred controversy. He suggested that a hero standing at 6 feet and 3 inches would be more fitting than someone of shorter stature. The comments sparked widespread criticism.
Responding to the backlash, Naga Babu took to his social media platforms to express regret, stating that his words were not intended to cause offense and extending apologies to anyone who felt hurt.
Operation Valentine has been generating significant buzz with its well-organised promotions. It remains to be seen how audiences will receive this aerial action drama based on the Pulwama and Balakot airstrike events.
