Sale Sharks full-back Joe Carpenter has extended his deal until the end of the 2026-27 season.
The 22-year-old, who has represented England up to Under-20 level, scored on his Premiership debut against Exeter in October 2022.
“Joe is a mercurial, prodigious talent and we’re very lucky to have him,” director of rugby Alex Sanderson told the club website.
“He’s already a leader for us but he’s definitely future captain material.”
