As the Lok Sabha elections are nearing, the political landscape of Telangana is getting intensified. Tomorrow (March 12) will be a big day in state politics as the three major parties are holding significant public meetings.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, BRS chief KCR and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are entering the battlefield on the same day. They are set to start the campaign a few days before the election schedule’s announcement.
Revanth Reddy will participate in a “Mahila Shakti” meeting at Parade Grounds tomorrow. He will launch the Interest Subvention Scheme (Vaddi Leni Runalu) for the women from Self Help Groups. He is launching the scheme days ahead of the implementation of the election code.
Congress leaders are planning to use their party’s implemented welfare schemes to attract people to vote for them.
On the other side, KCR will participate in BRS’s “Kadana Bheri” event in Karimnagar. He is expected to counter-attack the Congress government’s corruption allegations against BRS, concerning the Kaleshawaram Project and also gear up his cadre for the Parliament elections.
Meanwhile, Amit Shah will heat up the election war by participating in “Vijaya Sankalpa Sammelanam” at LB Stadium tomorrow. BJP is looking forward to increasing its Lok Sabha seats significantly this time in Telangana.
On the whole, March 12 will officially kickstart the political battle in Telangana for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
