An actor from the popular Netflix show Squid Game is now convicted in a sexual harassment case.

Actor O Yeong-su has been convicted of sexual harassment and given an eight-months prison sentence, suspended for two years, by a court in South Korea.

O Yeong-su is 79 years old and was charged with two counts of sexual harassment in 2017, forcefully kissing and groping a theatre colleague. He denied the allegations.

The Suwon District Court also ordered him to attend a sexual violence treatment program.
