Vicky Kaushal’s popularity is soaring thanks to his recent movies, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” and “Sam Bahadur,” which did pretty well.
His next film, “Bad Newz,” also features the Animal beauty, Tripti Dimri, along with Punjabi star Ammy Virk. The first look posters were released yesterday and they didn’t impress many.
Tripti’s fans are calling out that this might not be a worthy follow-up for Tripti Dimri after the mini sensation she created with Animal. They feel she’s not doing justice to her talent, beauty, or glamour with choices like this.
Tripti signed on for “Bad Newz” before “Animal” happened. She filmed it alongside “Animal” in 2022 and 2023, not knowing her popularity would skyrocket after “Animal.”
As for Vicky Kaushal, he might have joined the project because of Karan Johar and the fat paycheck. This is his second collaboration with director Anand Tiwari after “Love Per Square Foot,” which was the first Indian film released directly on a digital platform.
Originally called “Rola,” Bad Newz was filmed last year and was supposed to come out in August 2023, then moved to February 2024.
But now, it’s delayed again. Just yesterday, it was named “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam,” but suddenly, they changed it to “Bad Newz.”
