Jimmy Donaldson, who is well-known as Mr Beast for giving away large sums of money, has teamed up with Amazon Prime Video to debut the reality competition series “Beast Games.” The programme, which offers a $5 million cash reward to the victor, will include 1,000 competitors in a high-production value, fast-paced style.
Mr. Beast will serve as the show’s host and executive producer. It will only be accessible globally on Prime Video. With what is reportedly the biggest single payout in TV history, the show will have a high-production value and a fast-paced structure.
Donaldson is a well-known YouTuber who has amassed over 245 million subscribers. He gained a lot of popularity with his 2021 recreation of Netflix’s “Squid Game.” His 2021 reenactment is the most popular video on YouTube and brought in an estimated $82 million in gross revenue between June 2022 and June 2023.
Among Donaldson’s commercial endeavours are the MrBeast Burger restaurant chain and the Feastables line of chocolate bars and snack items. Donaldson filed a lawsuit against Virtual Dining Concepts, the virtual eatery operator of Mr. Beast Burger, last year, alleging that the company had harmed his reputation. In response, VDC sued Mr. Beast for $100 million, claiming breach of contract.
Donaldson has also organised fundraisers for the Ocean Conservancy, the Arbour Day Foundation, and the Ocean Cleanup, helping to generate millions of dollars for these worthy causes.
