It is not easy to run a political party these days especially when politics have become so costly. Pawan Kalyan managed to drag the cart for ten years thanks to his film income.
In the process, Pawan Kalyan has made many mistakes. Some of them are forced on him and some of them are due to political inexperience.
But then, he successfully averted another mistake, and this time, a very big one.
The BJP-led Central Government tried to lure Pawan Kalyan into contesting for the Parliament in the name of making him a cabinet minister.
Pawan Kalyan tempted to contest for Kakinada Parliament but delayed the decision until now.
Finally, in a Janasena meeting, he clarified that he told the BJP that he can not since he is bound to serve the state for now.
This is the wisest political decision of Pawan Kalyan to date because contesting for Assembly and Parliament is bound to create confusion in the minds of voters and there is a risk of getting defeated in both seats.
Recently, we have seen KCR and Revanth Reddy lose one of their two seats because of the same confusion.
Also, Janasena voters would lose interest in this election the moment Pawan Kalyan chooses Parliament. They will refrain from voting thinking that Pawan Kalyan has no hopes whatsoever in state politics.
So, this is a wise decision for sure.
