Japanese automaker Nissan is currently selling only a single vehicle, the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV in the Indian market. However, the company has announced to introduce multiple new products over the period of next 2 years. Adding to it, Nissan will give a major makeover to the Magnite compact SUV. In fact, the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift has already been caught testing on the Indian roads.
2024 Nissan Magnite – Design & Interior
The spotted model was fully covered in thick cloth; however, it still reveals some of the key details. The SUV rides on newly designed alloy wheels and newly styled tail-lights. Nissan could add LED treatment to the tail-lights with the facelift. It also gets a shark fin antenna, which was missing in the older vehicle.
The spy shots only reveal the side and rear profile of the SUV. We expect the front to receive significant changes in terms of new grille, new LED headlamps with LED DRLs, and new bumper. The SUV will also receive significant changes inside the cabin. It is likely to be packed with better quality materials and features such as ventilated seats, auto-dimming IRVM and a few soft-touch plastics.
The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift is also likely to receive a single-pane sunroof. The existing model is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a TFT instrument screen, automatic AC, keyless entry, armrest for both front and rear occupants, rear AC vents, push-button start and Nissan Connect telematics. The SUV is also packed with LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps and LED front turn indicators.
Specifications
The SUV will continue to be offered with the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. The SUV will also get the 1.0L turbo unit that is good for 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT (NA unit) and a CVT (turbo petrol).
