X-Men has been a favorite comic of people for a long, long time, and its crazy fanbase increased with the arrival of movies in the early 2000s. It has been a pioneer in the vast world of superhero movies, which became such a huge phenomenon after the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We can surely say that it all started with X-Men.
Now that the MCU is having an off phase, as it is finding it difficult to connect with its viewers for the maximum number of movies and shows, X-Men is trying to reach the masses with its new animated series, X-Men ’97.
It’s a revival sort of thing, especially for the fans who have been waiting for it to come back. This time, it’s all new with better animation, better styling, and a modern touch, along with keeping the original nostalgia.
Since Marvel got the character rights, at many points, they have tried to reintroduce X-Men to the universe they have created, and it has terribly failed. It seems that they have everything but don’t know how to use them effectively. This series seems to have worked on it, as the events of X-Men ’97 continue immediately after the fifth season of X-Men: The Animated Series.
