Star boy Sidhu Jonnalagadda’s film “DJ Tillu” is one of the crazy hit films of Tollywood youth. And the awaited film “Tillu Square” is a crazy sequel to this film. Directed by Mallik Ram, the film stars Anupama Parameswaran as the heroine. Let’s see in the review whether this movie has met the expectations.
Story:
Coming to the story, Tillu (Sidhu Jonnalagadda) recovers from an old injury and starts Tillu events with his family and friends and does wedding planning and DJ events. That day Lily Joseph (Anupama Parameswaran) enters his life. And from there Tillu changes gears again. After that again Lily asks him for help with a fresh problem as her birthday special. And what will he do when he is already hurt by Radhika? What is the link to the famous mafia don Mehboob Ali (Murali Sharma) in their story? If there is Radhika (Neha Shetty) again or how this crazy ride ends in the end, this movie has to be seen on the silver screen.
Plus Points:
As the previous movie was a sensational hit, there are good expectations for this one. It can be said that Tillu Square meets them in terms of main entertainment. From the title cards of the movie, the movie continues with solid entertainment, reminding Tillu vibes again.
Star boy Sidhu Jonnalagadda once again shined as DJ Tillu. It must be said that he made the scenes hilarious with his mark timing comedy. He entertains in this movie with good acting and good handsome looks in some scenes.
Anupama played a solid role in the range shown in the movie as an updated version of Radhika or her older sister. If her glam show is together, her performance will also be appreciated in the film. Also, with the chemistry between the two but many comedy scenes, the youth will be given a treat for those who want good entertainment in this movie.
Besides these, there will not be a surprise in the second half. And Murali Sharma as the main lead has done justice to his role and actor Muralidhar Goud’s performance and comedy timing are impressive. Along with them, the rest of the cast have done full justice to their roles.
Minus Points:
This movie definitely has good entertainment but the concept is routine. Like the previous part 1 this too continues with the same routine line. Also some scenes seem predictable. And some key twists don’t excite much.
Also the climax portion also feels a bit routine. Apart from these, the twist on Anupama Roll at one time may not be to everyone’s taste. Also in the second half, some aspects including logics on Murali Sharma seem weak.
Technical category:
The production values in this movie are good. The makers, however, do not seem to have compromised anywhere. Also, in the technical team, Ram Miryala and Akhu Songs Bheem’s background songs were a big plus. Also Sai Prakash’s cinematography is impressive with colorful and beautiful visuals. Editing by Naveen Nulu is also good.
When it comes to director Mallik Ram, he has given an impressive work to this movie. Along with him, Sidhu also showed his work in the writing of this film. It is good that Mallick takes the narration without getting bored. In terms of story, some aspects are routine but he has provided plenty of entertainment.
Verdict:
Overall, this crazy ride “Tillu Square” which is a sequel to DJ Tillu, does not disappoint in providing entertainment. Sidhu and Anupama played the main lead. Good comedy decent narration engages the audience in the movie. Otherwise, some scenes are routine, apart from these, Tillu Gadu once again provides entertainment with a good crazy ride in theaters.
