From Motorola Edge 50 Pro to OnePlus Nord 4, phones launching in April 2024 | Technology News

Then, all you have to do is wait for a few more days, as many brands have confirmed to launch new smartphones in the next few days, which include devices like the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M55, and more.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is launching on April 3 and it’s the first smartphone from the company to include generative AI features. Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, the device also comes with a premium finish, including a leather back panel, metal frame, and a curved AMOLED screen. The smartphone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and it also comes with a triple camera setup with a dedicated ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is likely to cost around Rs 40,000.

Samsung Galaxy M55

Samsung has started teasing the launch of the Galaxy M55powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC via Amazon. The company has also confirmed that the device will support 45W fast charging, making it the fastest-charging Galaxy M series smartphone. The Galaxy M55 was recently launched in Brazil, and the phone comes with an FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also ships with the latest OneUI 6.1 on top of Android 14 OS. The Galaxy M55 is likely to cost around Rs 30,000 in India.

Infinix Note 40 Pro+

The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ is one of the unique smartphones launching this month, which despite being a mid-tier smartphone supports wireless charging. The smartphone will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7060 SoC with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. On top of that, the phone will ship with Android 14 OS with two years of promised Android OS upgrades, and it also includes generative AI features like a wallpaper generator. As per the leaks, this device is likely to cost around Rs 25,000.

Realme 12X


Realme has confirmed that the Realme 12X will be priced within Rs 12,000, and in terms of design, it mimics the Realme 12+ (review) that we recently reviewed. In terms of features, the Realme 12X is confirmed to support 45W fast charging, and the device will also offer a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone runs on the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, and the phone offers a large 6.72-inch display with FHD resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It is also confirmed to offer an IP54 rating and out-of-the-box, the phone will run on Android 14 OS.

OnePlus Nord 4

OnePlus recently announced the OnePlus Ace 3V in China, and the company is most likely to introduce the same in India under the OnePlus Nord 4 branding, as a successor to the OnePlus Nord 3. The OnePlus Nord 4 looks almost identical to the just announced OnePlus Nord CE 4, and the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3which is the first 7 series chip from the company with generative AI capabilities. The OnePlus Nord 4 is likely to cost over Rs 30,000 and is expected to come in multiple storage options.
