There were earlier reports that director Shankar and Kamal Haasan intended to release their highly awaited sequel to “Bharateeyudu” in May 2024. However, they have revised their plans.
The film is titled “Indian 2” in Tamil and other languages, and “Bharateeyudu 2” in Telugu. Anirudh composed an intro song, which was released last year. The film’s shooting has already concluded. Shankar filmed two portions of this narrative, “Bharateeyudu 2” and “Bharateeyudu 3”.
Because the film’s subject is corruption in government, the team opted to release it after the election process is completed.
The film features Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth and others. Lyca Productions is bankrolling it.
