APCC president YS Sharmila questioned why YS Jagan gave Kadapa MP ticket to YS Avinash Reddy, who is accused in the murder of their uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy.
Sharmila visited the popular Ameen Peer Dargah in Kadapa. She is contesting for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat against Avinash in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to the public at her campaign in Kadapa, Sharmila pointed out that the CBI has named Avinash as an accused in Vivekananda’s murder case. She questioned Jagan’s silence on the matter and his decision to field Avinash as a candidate.
Sharmila urged people to teach a lesson to leaders who engage in violent politics. She accused Avinash of not talking about Kadapa Steel Plant and criticized Jagan for doing nothing for the welfare of the Muslim community. Sharmila asserted that the Congress is the only party which always supports Muslim community.
Sharmila alleged that neither Jagan nor Avinash did anything to the welfare of the people of Kadapa. She promised to serve the people of Kadapa like her father YS Rajashekar Reddy and requested them to vote for her.
