The separation of siblings YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YS Sharmila broke their family dynamics. For the first time, they are contesting against each other in the upcoming General Elections.
While Jagan is trying to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the second time, representing his party YCP, Sharmila, on the other side, has become the president of AP Congress and is aiming to dethrone her brother.
Jagan is contesting for the MLA seat from Pulivendula and Sharmila is contesting for the MP seat from Kadapa. After becoming the APCC president, Sharmila has been constantly attacking Jagan and his rule.
Even in her campaign, she has been taking potshots at Jagan and YCP’s Kadapa MP contestant, YS Avinash Reddy. She has been questioning Jagan’s move of offering ticket to Avinash, who is one of the accused in their uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case.
Reportedly, Jagan and Sharmila’s mother YS Vijayamma has been caught up with the internal conflicts within her family. People across the state are curious about whom Vijayamma is supporting in the elections.
According to the sources, Vijayamma doesn’t want to involve at all in these elections and left India. It is heard that she went to the United States and will be back home in the last week of May, after the conclusion of elections.
Apparently, Vijayamma doesn’t want to create further rifts in her family by supporting one of her children. To avoid such situation, she decided to leave the country and will arrive back in India only after elections.
