New Nissan Magnite Facelift – Top 5 Expected Changes

Nissan Magnite was launched nearly four years ago in 2020 in the Indian market. Presently, it is the lone product in the Japanese brand’s portfolio in India. Recently, a test mule, of what is being perceived as the facelifted version of the SUV, was spotted near Nissan’s factory in Chennai. Though it was heavily disguised, a few prominent updates were visible. Hence, let’s talk about the top 5 expected changes in the Nissan Magnite facelift

  1. New Alloy Wheels

Due to the heavy camouflage, not much was known about the front fascia or the rear profile. However, the SUV in spy-images was riding on a newly designed set of alloy wheels, which could also make way in the production-ready model when it launches by the end of 2024 in India. The silhouette was identical to the ongoing model.

  1. 6-Airbags

It has been learnt that Nissan would bolster the safety quotient by offering 6-airbags as standard feature with the facelifted version of the Magnite. The present iteration of the SUV comes packed with multiple safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control.

  1. More Powerful

Nissan Magnite feels underpowered, even on the paper, leave alone while driving, as compared to its rivals. It is expected that Nissan might up the ante by re-tuning both the 1.0L naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engines to extract more power and torque to match the competition.

  1. Higher Mileage

The 1.0L naturally-aspirated petrol engine delivers mileage of 20kmpl while the turbocharged unit returns 17.4kmpl. The 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift could have a higher fuel economy figure than both the aforementioned numbers.
