YS Sharmila contesting as Kadapa MP is troubling YSR Congress big time in Jagan’s native district. YS Sunitha is also extensively participating in the campaign.
The murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy is the main election agenda of the sisters. Sharmila in particular is delivering fiery speeches drawing the attention of people across the state. Kadapa is the only district that is majorly in favor of the YSR Congress.
If Sharmila starts eating into the YSR Congress’s votes, it will be trouble.
Political Experts say Avinash Reddy will lose if Sharmila’s vote share is more than 10%.
Ever since 1989, the YS Family has been winning all the elections that happened in the Kadapa Parliament.
There is only one way to stop Sharmila and Sunitha now.
Before the 2019 elections, Jagan was also troubled so much by this case. He went to court and got a Gag order preventing the Opposition from talking about this case.
Jagan may want Avinash to do the same. It is the only way to stop Sharmila and Sunitha.
But even that will come with its own share of issues.
In 2019, there were only political allegations. But now, the CBI charge sheet implies Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy. All the names that figured in the charge sheet are of the YSR Congress.
Moreover, the allegations are not by the political opponents now. It is Jagan’s sisters making them.
Even getting a Gag order may send very wrong signals to the Public.
