Additionally, the hatch gets rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitor, 360 degree camera and start notification sound. The India-spec new 2024 Maruti Swift, which is slated to launch on 9th May, will miss out these aforementioned features. In fact, it will be slightly different from the Japan-spec Swift.

In India, the new Maruti Swift will be crash tested by Bharat NCAP, and its safety rating could be different from the Japan-spec version. Here, the hatch will also miss out on the strong hybrid tech that’s offered in its global model. The new Maruti Swift will come with Suzuki’s all-new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine that can be had with and without mild hybrid tech. Its power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. Though, the new motor is likely to be as powerful as the outgoing 1.2L K-Series petrol unit. Suzuki’s new Z-Series petrol engine will ensure better fuel efficiency than its replacement.
The new 2024 Maruti Swift measures 3860mm in length, 1695mm in width and 1500mm in height. That means, its overall length has been increased and width and height have been trimmed down. The hatchback will receive comprehensive changes inside and out.
