“Tenant” is a family emotional thriller starring Satyam Rajesh as the protagonist. Directed by Y. Yugandhar, this film is produced by Mogulla Chandrasekhar Reddy under Mahateja Creations banner. This movie was released today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much the audience liked this movie!

Story:

Gautham (Satyam Rajesh) does a software job. He gets married to his daughter Sandhya (Megha Chaudhary). Both are very loving. On the other hand, Rishi (Bharat Kant) is with his friends in the next plot. Rishi, however, has been in love with Shravani (Chandana Payyavula) ever since. Sandhya dies in the wake of some dramatic developments in this sequence. Why Gautham actually killed Sandhya?, Why did Rishi-Shravani jump from the building?, What actually happened?, How did the lives of these two couples get ruined?, So, Gautham Manchoda? Is it bad? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

Indeed the main plot of this ‘tenant’ is closely related to the events happening around us. A simple family emotional murder mystery around the real point directed by Y. Yugandhar has established well. This is a movie that tells how careful women should be especially in this modern culture. Thrilling elements are good in some of the investigative scenes in the film. Also the climax twist is good.

Satyam Rajesh and Megha Chaudhary have done justice to their roles. Satyam Rajesh’s performance in emotional and serious scenes is the highlight of the movie. Bharat Kanth who played another key role did very well. His looks and expressions are also good. Chandana Payyavula’s performance as another heroine is good. And Tej Dileep, Aadukalam Naren, Dhana Bala, Anurag, Ramya Khunthuri have settled into their roles. Esther Noronha impresses as a serious police officer. The director’s way of handling the film from various angles around a murder is good at some places.

Minus Points:

Although there is an interesting crime drama in this Tenant movie, the play is very simple at some places. Also, despite the good point and content.. the main plot is also regular. Also, many scenes in the first half were boring. The first half should have been written more strongly. Along with this, unnecessary lag scenes have also increased. Moreover, the movie goes along with this slow narration along with boring treatment and fake emotions.

Except for some key scenes and the interval scene in the first half, the rest of the scenes are completely unimpressive. Let’s make the second half a bit emotional, said director Y. Yugandhar tries well, nowhere does the emotion work out to the fullest (except the climax). Moreover, the movie is stretched with poor scenes around silly emotions.

Although these tenant movie makers have elevated the content well on the screen, some scenes are not good. Also some scenes in the second half are not impressive.

Technical Department:

Talking about the technical department.. Director Y. Yugandhar could not add good treatment to good crime thrillers and increase interest. The play should have been written a little better. The cinematography of Gemin Jom Ayaneth is good in the movie. Along with the opening scenes of the movie, the cameraman showed some key scenes in the second half very naturally. Sahitya Sagar’s music is good. Background music doesn’t matter either. Vijay’s initial editing is also impressive. Mogulla Chandrasekhar Reddy’s production values are also good.

Verdict:

This emotional murder-mystery drama called ‘Tenant’ seemed okay with the thrilling elements at some places. However, things like the slow progress of the screenplay and lack of interesting scenes in the first half made the movie a minus. Overall this crime suspense thriller failed to fully entertain the audience. But, some emotional elements connect in this message oriented concept movie.
